To investigate the expression of insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I) in colorectal cancer tissues in Chinese. We used RT-PCR to detect the expression of IGF-I mRNA in 28 cases of colorectal cancer and its adjacent tissues, and to explore the relationship between the expression of IGF-I mRNA and the invasion and metastasis of colorectal cancer.
