客、货车辆三通阀主鞲鞴的密封型式及性能是影响三通阀动作性能和可靠性的关键之一。金属涨圈式的主鞲鞴从在美国F型三通阀上使用算起,至今已有一百多年的历史。使用金属涨圈的K型三通阀,在美国已在1956年淘汰。但在我国货车上,这种K型阀以及在其基础上改进的GK型阀仍占绝对优势。二十世纪五十年代,由于化学工业的发展,美国和欧洲相继使用织物增强橡胶模板代替金属涨圈。如美国的ABD、ABDW控制阀和西德的KE分配阀等就采用橡胶模板结构。与此同时,在西德的克诺尔(Knorr)制动机上还使用过一种新型的主鞲鞴密封结构—K型橡胶涨圈。1967年我国从西德进口装有K型橡胶涨圈的克诺尔机车制动机的内燃机车。我们对其涨圈进行了测绘,并作了试验和研究。

In 1967, China imported the locomotives of Knorr locomotive brake equipped with K-type rubber ring up from West Germany. We surveyed its ring and made experiments and studies.
