《普通高中数学课程标准》倡导积极主动、勇于探索的学习方式,注重提高学生的数学思维能力,发展学生的数学应用意识,体现数学的文化价值.因此教师教学的主要作用不在于讲授、解释或者传递数学知识.而是作为学生学习的组织者,引导者,合作者,设法创设能够激发学生学习兴趣、乐于探索的学习情境,充分调动学生学习、探索的积极性、主动性,从而最大程度地提高学习效率.
