在工业上关于铬化物的危害性已经认识很久了。铬化物可引起系统性疾病和皮肤病。铬化物对皮肤有两种不同的作用:(1)原发性刺激(腐蚀性):可以引起溃疡;(2)过敏性:导致湿疹样接触性皮炎。预防方法:理论上预防职业性皮肤病必须根据两个简单的原则;(1)预防过敏反应,让工人与化学物脱离接触;(2)预防原发性刺激反应,使接触的时间和程度减少到最低限度。工艺方面:用毒性小的化学物代替铬化物,例如铬制革法可以改用植物鞣皮剂。铬酸盐作抗锈剂时,可用钼酸盐代替。加强工作环境管理以减少铬
