由很细的氮化硼颗粒在高温高压下形成的一种多晶材料——陶瓷粘结相立方氮化氮化硼刀具材料正在日益引起刀具研究人员的注意。这种材料比现有硬质合金和氧化铝金属陶瓷刀片要好,特别适于加工淬火后的高硬度金属材料。虽然目前还无法确定这种刀具材料的全部应用特性,但就一系列的切削试验证明:它对冷硬铸铁轧辊、高碳高铬模具钢、镍铬耐磨铸铁、感应淬火合金工具钢等多种高硬度材料的车、铣、镗等加工具有极佳的效果。本文综合介绍国外的一部份试验研究工作
A polycrystalline material-ceramic bonded cubic boron nitride tool material formed by very fine boron nitride particles under high temperature and high pressure is increasingly attracting the attention of tool researchers. This material is better than the existing cemented carbide and alumina cermet inserts and is particularly suitable for machining hardened high hardness metallic materials. Although it is not yet possible to determine the full application characteristics of this tool material, a series of cutting tests have proved that it has excellent performance on chilled cast iron rolls, high-carbon high chromium die steel, nickel-chromium wear-resistant cast iron, induction hardened alloy tool steel, High hardness of the car, milling, boring and other processing with excellent results.
