在自然界中,物体除了具备形体之外,还有丰富美丽动人的色彩。在人类的视觉感受中,物质形体和色彩是人类认识自然界的第一步。雕塑发展到今天,色彩在雕塑中的运用已经无可质疑,20世纪的现代主义雕塑者们实验了很多作品。他们在各种意义上恢复了色彩用于雕塑的有效性概念,当然,这一步是从尊重材料质感开始的。在材料的固有色上,艺术家只考虑雕塑的造型,伟大的艺术家罗丹曾极力在青铜造像的表面留下黏土似的揉捏感,因此能唤醒了光线反射的隐约色感。正因色彩本身能代表一种感觉,我们只有了解色彩的感情和意义,才能表现出作品的完美性。
In nature, in addition to physical objects, there are rich and beautiful colors. In human visual perception, the physical form and color are the first steps in human understanding of nature. Sculptures today, the use of color in the sculpture has been beyond doubt, modernist sculptors of the 20th century experiments a lot of works. They have revived the notion of effectiveness of color in sculpture in all senses, but of course this step starts with respecting the texture of the material. In the natural color of the material, the artist considers only the shape of the sculpture. The great artist Rodin tried to leave a clay-like kneading sensation on the surface of the bronze statues, thus arousing the vague color feeling of light reflection. Because of the color itself can represent a feeling, we only understand the color of the feelings and meanings in order to show the perfection of the work.
