英语教学中翻译训练本身就是培养语言能力的一部分。强化翻译训练应该与英语教学目标的重新设定结合起来。翻译教学既是目的又是手段。翻译训练指向语言能力的综合提高。翻译训练本身有很多积极的效果,所谓“母语负迁移”也并不都是负面的。正迁移和负迁移本身是一种忽视迁移正向作用的划分。将迁移分为自我意识迁移和非自我意识迁移更有利于调动迁移的积极因素。翻译作为英语教学的必要手段是有效的,但还需完善。翻译训练应做到经常性、系统性、趣味性,应注意跨文化的特点。
Translation training in English teaching is itself a part of developing language skills. Intensive translation training should be combined with the re-setting of English teaching objectives. Translation teaching is both a purpose and a means. Translation training points to comprehensive improvement of language ability. Translation training itself has many positive effects. The so-called “negative transfer of mother tongue” is not always negative either. Positive and negative migration itself is a division ignoring the positive role of migration. Dividing migration into self-awareness transfer and non-self-awareness transfer is more conducive to mobilizing the positive factors of migration. Translation as an essential means of English teaching is effective, but still needs improvement. Translation training should be regular, systematic, interesting, should pay attention to cross-cultural characteristics.
