关于固定式气体探测系统问题,目前许多工业安装都没有明确的指导方案。无论国内还是国外,对某一项具体的工业安装,都没有指导方案能决定气体探测器的数量、探测空间和安装位置。有的仅仅是工业应用方面的内部指导手册,如:指导如何在停车场安装监控CO的探测器,海上石油平台安装可燃气探测系统,这两种方案在探测空间上差别很大,显然这个指导方案并不适用于所有工业场合。多数指导手册都回避了关于测量头可探测空间的问题。探测器安装数量通常由实际操作者根据经验对危险程度进行评估与分析,然后决定。但是所有的指导手册都要包含以下几点必须确定的内容,以便确定探测器的大约安装位置,然后再确定其在工厂的确切位置。
