电话口译是一种新兴的社区口译服务形式,因成本较低、操作便捷、服务方式灵活等优势,越来越受到口译市场的青睐。现阶段,电话口译研究的主题大多集中在对电话口译服务优劣性的讨论、电话口译质量评估、或者对电话口译发展前景的展望,缺乏从电话口译译员本身出发的调查研究。笔者选取常见的社区口译场景,从话轮转换这一角度入手,基于任文(2010)关于显身意识的研究,以上海某高校的MTI学生、留学生以及非英语专业学生为研究对象开展模拟探究。通过量化分析实验数据,探究电话口译与现场口译中,译员作为交际过程的协调者,在传递话轮、制造话轮以及打断或忽略话轮方面存在的差异,从而分析两种口译形式下,译员显身意识的强弱。
Telephone interpreting is an emerging form of community interpretation service, which is gaining increasingly popularity in the interpretation market due to its advantages of low cost, convenient operation and flexible service mode. At present, most of the topics of telephone interpreting research focus on the discussion of the pros and cons of telephone interpreting services, the quality evaluation of telephone interpreting, or the prospects for the development of telephone interpreters. There is no research on the interpretation of telephone interpreters. Based on the research of Ren Wen (2010) on the manifestation of awareness, the author uses MCE, foreign students and non-English majors in a university in Shanghai as the research object to conduct a simulation study . Through quantitative analysis of the experimental data to explore the differences between telephone interpreters and on-site interpreters, interpreters as coordinators of the communicative process, transmitting turn, making turn, and interrupting or neglecting turn rounds, The strength of the interpreter to show consciousness.
