In the Warring States Period, the teaching of poetry encountered two completely different attitudes among the government and the civil society. On the one hand, when the teaching of “poetry” loses the effect of bringing real political interests, “poetry” inevitably suffers from the cold shoulders of the ruling class. At the same time, due to the transfer of Confucianism, Mohism and other private schools, “Poem” has gained more extensive space for communication among the people. It is the most notable feature of the spread of poetic texts in the Warring States Period through the widespread private education in private schools. This article focuses on the attitude of various social strata in addition to Confucianism in the Warring States Period and the basic status of the spread of “poetry.”
