根据2015年6—7月和10—11月中国秋刀鱼船在西北太平洋采集的秋刀鱼(Cololabis saira)样本,以耳石最大宽度(MW)与其总长(TSL)之比作为表征耳石生长的指标,利用方差分析耳石生长与性成熟度、个体大小的关系。结果表明,耳石扁平,核心靠后端,基叶较翼叶突出明显;除Ⅳ外,雌雄个体各期TSL和MW均值随性成熟度等级增大而增加,在Ⅳ~Ⅴ期TSL和MW均值明显增加。雌雄个体在Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ、Ⅴ期性成熟度间耳石MW/TSL不存在显著性差异(P>0.05),表明从性成熟度Ⅱ期开始的个体,其耳石形态不随性成熟度的增加而变化。随着叉长增加,雌、雄性个体TSL和MW均值逐渐增加,不同叉长组间,耳石TSL、MW均值差异显著(P<0.05)。在各个叉长组间雌雄个体耳石MW/TSL不存在显著性差异(P>0.05),MW/TSL值增长不明显;秋刀鱼从性成熟度Ⅱ期开始,随着叉长增加,其耳石均匀生长。
