新世纪以来,西方叙事学研究在我国学界达到了新的高潮,成为广泛关注的一门显学。2010年由北京大学出版社出版的《西方叙事学:经典与后经典》(申丹教授、王丽亚教授合著)一书,拓展了叙事学研究范畴,亦推动了国内当代叙事学研究。该著作结合理论探讨与实践分析,集中关注了西方叙事学的两个分支:经典与后经典。80年代以来经典叙事学在西方遭到后结构主义和政治文化批评的夹攻,研究势头大幅回落,有学者认为经典叙事学已经过时。面对这些争议,作者在本书中进行了深入细致的分析,并表述了其深刻洞见:经典
Since the beginning of the new century, Western narratology has reached a new peak in Chinese academia and has become a significant study of widespread concern. The book “Western Narratology: Classics and Postclassics” (co-authored by Professor Shen Dan and Professor Wang Liya) published by Peking University Press in 2010 expands the category of narratology and promotes the study of contemporary Chinese narratology. The book combines theoretical analysis and practical analysis, focusing on two branches of Western narratology: classic and post-classical.
