The building system has been using chlorine salt as a concrete early-strength agent and antifreeze for more than 20 years. Due to the excessive amount, the steel bars in the reinforced concrete are rusted and even cause damage to the buildings. Current regulations stipulate that the amount of chlorine salt should not exceed 2% of cement weight. Tests have shown that when the amount of chlorine salt in the reinforced concrete reaches 2%, it can promote significant corrosion of the steel bar.
