(一) 叶面积是衡量棉花生长发育和群体结构是否合理的指标之一。准确地测定棉花叶面积极为重要。由于棉花叶片为掌状分裂,裂片的数目和裂口的深浅,随品种及叶的着生部位等而异,所以单株叶面积的测定比较繁琐,需要不断地改进方法,以提高其效率和准确度。通常测定棉花叶面积的方法有下述几种:1、求积仪法,此法的优点是精确程度高,但操作费时,工效低,应用于田间定株定时连续测定,困难更大。2、干重法,此法是根据叶面积与干重有一定的依赖关系,由叶片干重推算出叶面积,虽速度较快,但有时误差较大,加之需
