The use of pulse excitation for linear system modal measurement or parameter identification, the reliability and accuracy depends largely on the choice of pulse form and signal processing. To reduce noise interference and improve signal-to-noise ratio, power spectrum analysis is effective. After analyzing many kinds of pulses, we know that using Haming form or pulse like Haming can effectively suppress side lobe leakage and have wider frequency response. Signal processing, the majority is achieved through the choice of different windows, the use of half-width Haming function input window
