The Ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo site, was a stone pit, landfill. As a native of Changxindian, I witnessed the earth-shaking changes that took place here - I remember in the last century from 1980 to 1987, I had lived in Changxindian Township, worked more than seven years. At that time, the bank of the Yongding River, which was located upstream of the Lugou Bridge, was presented with devastating, trashy and desolate desolation to the world. To say a relatively flat, arable land to grow grain, the number of Parkside Park is now the main hall around the Chang Xindian Township East Village, Zhang Guozhuang village. In 1985, with the help of various parties, the first rail yard in Beijing, with collective ownership, was established there and later became the Shougang freight yard, where coal ash and steel were mainly transported. It is this piece of larger sand wasteland, catch a small wind to yellow sand, to catch the wind on the coal ash.
