Ming and Qing Dynasties, Liaodong Peninsula area of the post road traffic and the rise and fall of the local shipping are closely related. In the early years of Ming Hongwu, remnant forces of the Mongolian Yuan invaded the western Liaoning area from time to time and the traffic on the Lu’iao land was interrupted. Dengliaohai Road then became the Ming Dynasty Central Government to the northeast region’s only access, and its adjoining Liaodong Peninsula region traffic highlights, along the post there. With the gradual rise of Yongle and the relocation of capital Ming Ting to Beijing, the post of the post at Shanhaiguan into the Liao Dynasty has been on the rise. Coupled with the termination of the large scale shipping bill, the transportation function in the Liaodong Peninsula has been significantly reduced. After the Qing Dynasty was settled, the postal roads along the Shanhaiguan Highway, which have been repeatedly constructed, completely replaced Dengliaohai Road due to the evolution of the frontier pattern and the strict ban on the sea by the government, thus becoming the most important trunk road leading to the hinterland of the Central Plains. This makes the Liaodong Peninsula area greatly decline in traffic status, all of the original Inn have been eliminated along the road is no longer included in the national post system.
