海南岛黎族人口约有83万多,主要分为五个支系,即:本地黎(润人)、杞黎(岐黎)、侾黎、德透黎(赛人)、美孚黎。勤劳智慧的黎族人民,世世代代生息在美丽富饶的南海宝岛上,建设着自己美好的家园,不仅创造了丰富的物质财富,而且也创造了民族文化和艺术。数千年来,黎族男女的衣着无根本区别,均为上衫下裙,用手织粗布做成。上衫缝合如布袋,无袖无扣,仅在中央开一个洞,穿时自头贯下,所以又有“贯头式”之称。男裙仅用两片布遮掩下体前后,以带束于腰间。女裙其形如桶,所以后人称为“黎桶”,现均称之为(衤甬)裙。 Hainan Island Li population of about 830,000, is divided into five branches, namely: the local Li (Run Run), Qi Li (Qi Li), Li Li, De Toro (racers), Mobil Lai.
