意大利是欧空局四大支柱成员国之一,空间技术的发展始于同美国的合作。早在六、七十年代,意大利的科学卫星和通信卫星均有一定水平。近十余年来,意大利除维持国际合作外,国内空间计划没有什么进展。目前随着政局稳定、经济好转,又开始重视空间活动。除了呼吁尽早成立国家航天局外、还提出加速实用通信卫星的研制,以赶上法国和西德的空间技术发展水平。 Italy is one of the four pillars of ESA. The development of space technology started with cooperation with the United States. As early as the sixties and seventies, Italy’s science and communications satellites have a certain level. In the past decade or so, apart from maintaining international cooperation, Italy has made little progress in its domestic space program. With the current political stability and economic improvement, we have begun to attach importance to space activities. In addition to calling for the early establishment of NASA, it also proposed to accelerate the development of practical communications satellites to catch up with the development of space technology in France and West Germany.
