陆缘弧系是北西滨太平洋区岛弧系后面主陆边缘的弧形构造，其与岛弧在形态及运动学上有相似性，又有其本身特点．中国东南沿海陆缘弧的前弧及其两翼走滑带的活动控制了我国大陆东部的强震活动．前弧出现挤压逆冲型地震，两翼则呈现走滑型地震．陆缘弧地震具有空间上分段性与时间上脉动性的特点
The continental margin arc is an arc structure at the edge of the main continental margin behind the northwest Pacific island arc. It has similarities in morphology and kinematics with island arcs and has its own characteristics. The activities of the front arc of the continental margins and the strike-slip belts of the southeastern China coast control the strong earthquakes in the eastern part of the mainland of China. Extruded and thrust type earthquake occurred in the front arc, while the two wings showed a strike-slip earthquake. The continental margin arc has the characteristics of spatial segmentation and temporal fluctuation
