委婉语是语言现象,又是社会文化现象。委婉语根植于民族语言、文化背景和思想观念之中,因此文化背景的独特性使不同语言在委婉表达方面形成巨大差异,给二语习得者造成困惑。因此,在对外汉语教学中,委婉语的教学具有重要意义,其难点集中体现在语义信息的复杂性和学习者母语文化的负作用两方面。在对外汉语教学实践中,委婉语的教学可以尝试使用词汇分类式教学、语境模拟式教学和文化对比式教学等方法,以达到更好的教学效果。
Euphemism is a linguistic phenomenon, but also a social and cultural phenomenon. Euphemism is rooted in the national language, cultural background and ideological concepts. Therefore, the uniqueness of the cultural background makes great differences in the euphemistic expressions of different languages, which confuses the second language learners. Therefore, in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the teaching of euphemism is of great significance. The difficulties are mainly reflected in the complexity of semantic information and the negative effects of learners’ native culture. In the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, euphemism teaching can try to use vocabulary classification teaching, contextual analog teaching and culture contrasting teaching to achieve better teaching results.
