He had served as Deputy Secretary of the British Colonial Affairs, Minister of Trade, Minister of the Interior, Minister of the Navy, and the bourgeois magnate of the British Prime Minister, opposed the coal miners’ movement. Little-known, however, Churchill was captured by the Dutch as a war correspondent in South Africa during a war. It was the miners who saved him. The miner hid him in a coal mine and helped him to successfully leave the blaze. This somewhat bizarre experience, he was hailed as a hero of triumph, and become
