2009年以来天津市水稻机插秧快速发展,2012年机插率超过50%。但受育秧期高温、低温、大风等极端气候多发,以及目前机插育秧方式简陋、育秧分散、管理水平低、水质含盐量高等因素影响,育苗坏秧、插秧死苗现象普遍。建议推广应用工厂化集中育秧、改进育秧技术、改善稻田水质等措施,保障机插秧水稻生产。
