本文作者收集了1972年~1993年间,行微血管减压的典型三叉神经痛病例1404例连续病例,发现其中31例(2%)为椎基底动脉压迫所致。作者将此31例病例和余下的1373例普通血管压迫的病例进行了对照分析,结果显示该组年龄更大(平均62岁,对照组55岁,P<0.001),多见于男性(占68%,对照组39%,P<0.002),多见于左侧(占65%,对照组39%,P<0.002),多见于高血压患者(占65%,对照组18%,P<0.001),且更可能有同侧面肌痉挛(占16%,对照组0.6%,P<0.001)。在此31例中,18例为椎动脉压迫三叉神经(单独压迫者3例,和其他血管一起压迫者15例),12例为基底动脉压迫(单独压迫者4例,和其他血管一起压迫者8例),1例为椎基底动脉交界处压迫。31例中,29例行微血管减压,1例行完全性三叉神经根
The authors collected 1404 consecutive cases of typical trigeminal neuralgia undergoing microvascular decompression between 1972 and 1993 and found that 31 (2%) of them were caused by vertebrobasilar compression. The authors compared the 31 cases with the remaining 1373 cases of common vascular compression and found that the group was older (mean 62 years, control 55 years, P <0.001) and more common in men (68% (Control group, 39%, P <0.002), more common in the left (65%, control 39%, P <0.002), more common in hypertensive patients (65%, control group 18%, P <0.001) And more likely to have ipsilateral muscle spasms (16%, control 0.6%, P <0.001). Twenty-eight of the 31 patients underwent compression of the trigeminal nerve with vertebral artery (3 in single oppression, 15 in co-oppression with other blood vessels) and 12 in basilar artery compression (4 in single oppression, co-oppression with other vessels 8 cases), one case of vertebrobasilar junction oppression.
