以苏工院商英专业二年级学生为例调查了高职院校本专业学生的翻译教学需求。调查表明,本专业学生对本课程学习兴趣浓厚,也已认识到其对提高英汉双语互译能力和英语总体水平均有助益。同时,他们希望学到更多结合自身需要(如职业、生活等主题)的知识,并对具体课程设置提出了一系列建议。鉴于对此方面需求的实证研究国内尚属一片空白,本文无疑对探索高职院校本专业人才培养模式及促进教学改革具有较为重要的理论和现实意义。
Taking the second year students of Shang Ying College as an example, this paper investigated the translation teaching needs of the major students in higher vocational colleges. The survey shows that the students have a keen interest in learning this course and have realized that they are helpful to improve the ability of English-Chinese bilingual translation and the overall English proficiency. At the same time, they want to learn more about their own needs (such as occupation, life and other topics) knowledge, and set out a series of recommendations for specific courses. In view of the fact that the empirical research on this area is still a blank in our country, this article undoubtedly has more important theoretical and practical significance to explore the mode of training professional talents in higher vocational colleges and to promote the teaching reform.
