Against the background of the new normal economic development, since 2012, China’s GDP growth has begun to slow down. As an important manufacturing base in China, in 2014, the GDP growth of the three northeastern provinces ranked among the last in the country. Among them, Heilongjiang’s GDP growth rate was 5.6%, Liaoning’s 5.8% and Jilin’s 6.5%. In the first quarter of 2015, the GDP growth rate still lacks improvement. In the first quarter of this year, Liaoning’s GDP growth rate was only 1.9%. Heilongjiang and Jilin respectively 4.8% and 5.8%. As an important region in China’s manufacturing industry, the three northeastern provinces have seen such slow GDP growth rates. This shows that China’s manufacturing industry is facing serious challenges.
