金融业在经济增长中扮演的角色,一直是人们关注的焦点。在贵州乃至全国,银行业仍然是金融业最主要的组成部分,文章以贵州省银行业发展与经济增长关系作为研究对象,利用1978～2009年贵州省银行业发展与经济增长有关的时间序列数据,构造向量自回归模型,运用单位根检验、协整检验和格兰杰因果关系检验等计量分析方法进行实证分析。研究结果表明,一方面,贵州省经济增长是银行业规模的格兰杰原因,即经济增长带动了银行业规模的扩大;另一方面,贵州省银行业规模是银行业效率的格兰杰原因,即银行业效率依附于银行业规模。
The role of the financial industry in economic growth has always been the focus of attention. In Guizhou and the whole country, the banking industry is still the most important part of the financial industry. Taking the relationship between the banking industry in Guizhou Province and the economic growth as the research object, this article makes use of the time series data of the banking industry development and economic growth in Guizhou Province from 1978 to 2009 , Constructs the vector autoregressive model, uses the unit root test, the cointegration test and the Granger causality test to carry on the empirical analysis. The results show that on the one hand, the economic growth in Guizhou Province is the Granger reason for the size of the banking sector, that is, the economic growth has led to the expansion of banking scale; on the other hand, the banking scale in Guizhou Province is Granger reason for banking efficiency , That is, banking efficiency is dependent on the size of the banking industry.
