At present, there are 350 million people with hepatitis B virus (HBV) carriers worldwide, and 20% -40% of them die of liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. However, little is known about the host factors involved in different natural infections. In this study, we used gene point mutation technique to study the relationship between MBP mutation and HBV host sensitivity. MBP is a Ca ~ (2+) -dependent lectin that plays an important role in the body’s natural immunity against infections by activating complement and promoting phagocytosis. Past studies have shown that mutations in the MBP gene can cause severe and rare infections in adults and children. HBV envelope protein MBP binding point.
