经济日报据英国《金融时报》报道,美国农业部预测,今年世界粮食总产量将超过15.98亿吨,比去年的14.83亿吨增长8％。粗粮回升最大,预计将从1983—84年度的6.886亿吨增加到7.936亿吨。小麦产量预计为4.488亿吨,大米为4.529亿吨。另据联合国粮农组织预测,1984年世界谷物产量将为17.8亿吨,小麦产量仍将保持在5.05亿吨。国际小麦理事会估计,1984—85年度,世界小麦的贸易量不会发生变化,仍将保持在9,900万吨。
Economic Daily According to the British “Financial Times” report, the US Department of Agriculture predicts that the world’s total grain output this year will exceed 1.598 billion tons, an increase of 8% from last year’s 1.483 billion tons. The largest increase in coarse grains is expected to increase from 688.6 million tons in 1983-84 to 793.6 million tons. Wheat production is expected to be 448.8 million tons and rice is 452.9 million tons. According to another UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) forecast, world cereal production in 1984 will be 1.78 billion tons, and wheat production will remain at 505 million tons. The International Wheat Board estimates that in 1984-85, the world wheat trade volume will not change and will remain at 99.0 million tons.
