2011年的成都双年展包括“溪山清远:当代艺术展”“谋断有道:国际设计展”和“物我之境:国际建筑展”三大主题展。此前,从媒体报道上看,阵容庞大,而且豪华。用媒体的说法是“曾经专属于小众的双年展,如今却在成都成了全民盛会”。似乎不去看一回,就落伍了似的。我前后两次去参观,结果看到的就像设计师欧宁所说的那样,双年展已成为流行的城市营销手段,亦存在一种虚华的假繁荣。
The Chengdu Biennale in 2011 includes three major themed exhibitions: “Mountain and Stream Qingyuan: Contemporary Art Exhibition”, “Interdisciplinary: International Design Exhibition” and “The Realm of My Object: International Architecture Exhibition.” Previously, from the media coverage point of view, a large lineup, but also luxury. To use the media’s argument is “Biennale was once dedicated to a small minority, but now it has become a national event in Chengdu ”. Seems not to look back, it is out of date like. I visited it twice before and after. The result, as Ou Ning said, was that Biennale has become a popular marketing tool for the city. There is also a false prosperity.
