技术的进步促使现代战机的机动能力和飞行速度都有很大的提升。高性能战机的飞行转弯或从俯冲中改出时,由于飞行方向发生变化,常常受到持续正加速度的作用。正加速度的效应主要表现在血液从人体的上部被移向身体的下部,血液的移动在血压的表现是心脏以上血压降低,心脏以下血压增高。1938年,美国波彭等人最先研究了这种血压的变化,这就为抵消正加速度的作用提供了生理依据。
Advances in technology have led to a great improvement in the mobility and speed of modern fighter aircraft.
