在民族地区大力发展的时期,民族院校的英语专业作为支撑当地社会和经济发展的作用应该明确自身的功能定位,形成自己的办学特色,才能在社会发展和竞争中发挥自己应有的贡献。文章以贵州民族大学为例,通过调查和分析,结合少数民族学生的性格特点和学习特点,提出民族院校英语专业特色教学模式,以期对民族地区英语教育有所帮助。
During the vigorous development in ethnic minority areas, the English majors in ethnic colleges and universities, as the role of supporting local social and economic development, should define their own functional orientation and form their own characteristics of running schools so that they can make their due contribution in social development and competition. Taking Guizhou University for Nationalities as an example, this paper puts forward the characteristic teaching mode of English majors for ethnic minority students through the investigation and analysis, combined with the characteristics and learning characteristics of ethnic minority students, with a view to helping English education in minority areas.
