种子活力种子活力即种子的健壮度,是种子发芽和出苗率、幼苗生长的潜势、植株抗逆能力和生产潜力的总和,是种子品质的重要指标。长期以来都用发芽试验检验种子的质量,生产实践表明,实验室的发芽率与田间的出苗率之间往往存在很大差距。种子活力主要决定于遗传性以及种子发育成熟程度与贮藏期间的环境因子。遗传性决定种子活力强度的可能性,发育程度决定活力程度表现的现实性,贮藏条件则决定种子活力下降的速度。
Seed vigor Seed vigor is the seed’s robustness, is the seed germination and emergence rate, seedling growth potential, plant resilience and productivity potential, is an important indicator of seed quality. Germination tests have long been used to test the quality of the seeds. Practice shows that there is often a long way to go between the germination rate in the laboratory and the emergence rate in the field. Seed vigor is mainly determined by heredity and the degree of seed maturity and environmental factors during storage.
