Based on Tony Morrison’s Bluest Eye, this essay analyzes the theme and core content of black writing in post-colonial context and reveals the self-hatred and self-denial of internalization of black racism The fact that the blacks were virtually unknown and invisible in the white mainstream society ultimately reduced them to the “other” in identity predicament.
