In recent years, our country has paid more and more attention to English education, while the high school English classroom is the center of English education, which is of vital importance to the cultivation of students’ English learning ability. In the traditional English classroom teaching, teachers have always been the main body of classroom teaching, students are passive learners of English learning. This is very detrimental to the initiative of students. The new curriculum reform put forward higher requirements for English teaching. How to give full play to the initiative of students and how to get students to actively participate in the study of English has become an important part of the work that current English teachers need to do research. Self-learning classroom teaching mode is the result of continuous exploration of English teaching practice, to maximize
