一、前言为了进一步提高刃具、工模具及其他一些机械零件的使用寿命,当前发展了在金属表面气相沉积碳化钛(TiC)的新工艺,为化学热处理开辟了新的领域。这种表面涂覆工艺,在国内外都给予特别的重视,这是因为TiC涂层具有某些极好的性能,它的硬度极高,达Hv3000~5000kg/mm~2,具有很高的耐磨性,低的摩擦系数(0.08~0.10)和强的抗腐蚀性能等。应用于工模具一般可提高其使用寿命达5~20倍之多,应用于刃具和一些机械零件也能取得较好的技术、经济效果。
I. INTRODUCTION In order to further improve the service life of cutting tools, tooling and other mechanical parts, a new process of vapor deposition of titanium carbide (TiC) on metal surfaces has been developed, opening up new fields for chemical heat treatment. This kind of surface coating process has been given special attention at home and abroad because TiC coating has some excellent properties, its hardness is extremely high, up to Hv3000 ~ 5000kg/mm~2, with high resistance Abrasiveness, low coefficient of friction (0.08 to 0.10) and strong corrosion resistance. Application to the mold can generally increase its service life by as much as 5 to 20 times, and it can also achieve better technical and economical results when applied to cutting tools and some mechanical parts.
