著名化学家傅鹰先生曾说:“一门科学的历史是那门科学中最宝贵的一部分,因为科学只能给我们知识,而历史却能给我们智慧。”实施新课程以来,无论是课程标准的要求,还是新课程教材的栏目,都丰富了化学发展史的内容。然而,在实际教学中,有些教师担心介绍化学发展史会影响教学进度,有些教师仅仅将化学发展史当作有趣的故事讲给学生听,化学史的教育价值并未得到充分的挖掘与利用。本文将结合实际教学谈谈挖掘利用化学发展简史教育价值的一些做法。
