培养面向未来、面向二十一世纪的跨世纪人才,英语教学起着举足轻重的作用。然而大学英语教学效果不佳,学生的英语水平提高不大,尤其是学生的英语交际能力不适应工作的需要,这一直是英语界不断探讨的问题。通过多年的调查、分析和研究,我们认为存在这一问题的主要原因是学生学习英语的积极性和主动性没有真正调动起来。而

However, college English teaching is ineffective, and students ’English level is not improved much. Especially, students’ communicative competence in English does not meet the needs of their work.
