画面款跋是文人画的重要元素。宋画大多无款,或者只是隐款、小款。元代前中期赵孟頫等人画作开始出现上款,但总体上没有大的突破。中后期,“元四家”等人的画款在内容、形式、风格等方面都别开生面,倪攒尤为突出。倪瓒,初名珽,字泰宇,后字元镇,号云林,别号懒攒、迁翁、荆蛮民、幻霞子、经锄隐者等等,江苏无锡人。其诗文被后人裒次为《清閟阁全集》。倪攒画作多有较长题款。吴升赞叹倪瓒《溪亭山色图》“诗款长题短咏参差书于画首,如花舞空中,鸿翩天外”
