一、缘起周枏先生是有影响的罗马法教授,其著作《罗马法原论》1994年由商务印书馆出版。这部著作产生了极大的影响,恐怕是我国引用率最高的法学著作之一。但是,同时也存在本文力图说明的缺陷,对这些问题周先生并非不自知。在书籍出版的当年,周先生就请我为其校对此书。只是由于我一直抽不出时间,到2001年8月,我才给周枏先生写信表达了校对的意思,10日后,其回信也表示了同意。但当我于2002年完成上册校对之后再次联系周先生时,却得不到答 First, the origin of Mr. Zhou En is influential professor of Roman law, his book “The Original Law of Rome” published by the Commercial Press in 1994.
