我18岁进工厂,成为拖拉机厂的一名电焊工人,上班几年后觉得无聊,就在街边摆起了四张桌子,开始卖麻辣烫。这种状态持续了两年,1994年3月,海底捞第一家火锅城在四川简阳正式开业,我、我太太、同学和同学太太四人,就是海底捞的创业团队。那时我连炒料都不会,只好买本书,左手拿书,右手炒料,就这样边炒边学。可想而知,这样做出来的火锅味道很一般,所以想要生存下去只能态度好点,客人要什么速度快点,有什么不满意多赔笑脸。
