从现实情况来看,中小学生法制教育并未真正得到重视。虽然中小学基本上都开设了《思想与社会》《思想品德》《思想政治》等课程,也涉及了法制教育的常识和内容,但大多停留在说教层面。一些地方也开展了聘请法制副校长的尝试,但因形式单一,且其身份高高在上,深入下去很难。总体来看,中小学法制教育存在认识不足、重视不够、措施不力等问题,师资和课程更是两大软肋。究其原因,法制教育还没有真正成为一项基础性、常态化的教育工作。
From the reality, the legal education of primary and middle school students has not really been taken seriously. Although primary and secondary schools have basically opened such courses as “ideology and society”, “ideology and morality” and “ideological and political education”, as well as the common sense and content of legal education, they mostly stay at the level of preaching. In some places, attempts have also been made to hire a vice-chancellor for the rule of law. However, due to its simple form and its high status, it is very difficult to go deep into it. Generally speaking, there are problems such as lack of understanding, insufficient attention and inadequate measures in the legal education in primary and secondary schools. Teachers and curricula are two weaknesses. The reason, legal education has not really become a basic, normalized education.
