At 9 p.m. on September 7, 2010, Mr. Lee Fook Yi died in Taipei at the age of 109. As a researcher in the history of Pu’er tea, I was shocked by this news, a feeling of sorrow, loss and emptiness filled my heart. After all, Mr. Li Fuming is a time-space connection between us and the distant Qing Dynasty and Pu-erh tea in that chaotic time of the Golden Triangle. He is the last witness of the border of Qing Dynasty, the founder of Pu’er Tea, the practitioner of Yunnan’s cooperation, the midwife of the Golden Triangle, the head of Menghai Tea Factory, the entrepreneur, politician, The disseminator of national culture ... ... Pu’er we admire the old tea, many of them are by hand to Myanmar, Thailand. There he was, our tea was very real, and the history of Pu’er tea was also very fresh. When he passed away, he took this realism away and his history went into a wilted and boring state of literature.
