《幼儿园工作规程》“总则”中明确指出,要“促进幼儿身体正常发育和机能的协调发展,增强体质。”“增强体质”的内涵是很丰富的,其中身体素质是重要的组成部分,幼儿的基本活动能力是幼儿身体素质的外部表现。例如,助跑跨跳50厘米的水平距离,需要幼儿有一定的助跑速度、腿部肌肉力量以及协调性等身体素质,否则不可能使基本活动能力得到提高。在幼儿园体育活动中,忽视幼儿身体素质培养的现象比较普遍,具体表现在:1.过于注重基本动作的练习。在体育活动中,不少教师以发展基本动作为主要目的,常常不按幼儿身体素质发展的要求设计活动过程。如有的教师在引导幼儿练习“手脚着地爬”的动作时,没有考虑如何增强幼儿四肢、躯干部
