编辑同志:我厂主要生产家用塑料制品,于2001年建成投产。厂里的大部分员工都是2001年建厂时进厂工作的,和厂里签订了六年期的劳动合同。由于多方面的原因,今年年初我厂决定迁址,新厂址选定在离原厂六十多公里以外的地方。由于离市区较远,现在有一部分员工不愿到新厂址工作,想和厂里解除劳动关系。请问,如果他们与厂里解除劳动合同,厂方是否应当给他们经济补偿?如果应当给予补偿,具体补偿数额应当如何计算?湖南苏芥
Editor comrades: I plant mainly produces household plastic products, put into operation in 2001. Most of the factory employees are working in factories in 2001, and signed a six-year labor contract with the factory. Due to many reasons, I decided to relocate our factory earlier this year. The new site was chosen more than 60 kilometers away from the original factory. As far away from the urban area, some employees are reluctant to work at the new site and want to lift the labor relations with the factory. May I ask, if they terminate the labor contract with the factory, the factory should give them financial compensation? If compensation should be given, the specific amount of compensation should be how to calculate?
