In this study, the Go / NoGo task was used and the three stimulation intervals of 1 second, 4 seconds and 8 seconds were chosen as the high, middle and low activation levels to investigate the status-regulating ability and response of children with ADHD in both subtypes Inhibit ability characteristics. The results showed that: (1) Children with ADHD-C and ADHD-I had defects in status-regulation and response-inhibition in both visual and auditory sensory channels. (2) Differences in cognitive deficits between ADHD-C and ADHD-I children were only found in the visual pathway, indicating that the ADHD-C children had more severe impairment of response inhibition and ADHD-I Children’s ability to regulate the status of the defect more serious. (3) The inhibitory ability of ADHD children in both subtypes of ADHD on auditory and sensory pathways was not affected by the activation state of stimulation, indicating that ADHD children’s state regulation ability is not the core defect more than the response inhibition ability.
