为了迎接中国——东盟博览会的召开,广西在社会稳定的基础上,致力打造平安广西,取得了众多的阶段性成果。治安、民族团结、交通、旅游、食品药品的安全以及安全生产等方面部有大的改观。——今年以来,广西公安机关相继开展了禁毒、追捕逃犯等一系列的专项斗争和整治行动。今年上半年,全区刑事立案数、治安案件立案数明显下降。据自治区综治委、自治区统计局联合开展的2003年全区社会综合治安公共安全感初步调查显示,群众对公共安全感到满意。另据今年初自治区企调队调查,外商对广西的社会治安状况满意率为76．2％。

According to the survey conducted by the Qizong team in the autonomous region earlier this year, the satisfaction rate of foreign investors to the social security situation in Guangxi was 76.2%.
