In the last two decades, the study of language and linguistic process has shifted somewhat from a perspective of pure lexical and grammatical phenomena to the social-cultural perspective.Yet,with the study of pragmatics converged with such other disciplines as behaviorial science,it is still firmly believed that it is necessary to conduct a behaviorial study of the nature of pragmatic failure other than mere linguistic and social study of pragmatic failure.Effective cross-cultural communication is dependent on shared knowledge and implication of non-verbal communication of participators.
