On April 25, 1978, BORA exhibited at its Annual General Meeting a “Ultrasonic Echo Ranging” device that utilizes ultrasonic autofocus on a SX-70 sonobuoy one-step imaging camera (see the accompanying drawing). Use this device to measure the time between the camera and the subject, to determine the shooting distance, than manual focus accurate and fast.
