中国是世界最大的电信市场之一在90年代前半期,以安装的固定线路数量计算,中国的电信基础设施建设翻了四番。在当前的第九个五年计划(1996-2000)里,固定线路安装数量预计每年会以超过1,600万条的速度递增,而蜂窝式移动电话设施每年也会以新增800万用户的速度增长。中国电信的目标是:到本世纪末,将全国电话普及率提高到每百人十部;城镇电话普及率达到每百人30-40部;每个乡村都能进入公共电话网络。这一切,都吸引着欧美企业在华投资。欧元诞生后,欧洲市场将趋于稳定,他们对中国市场,必将更为关注。在此我们选出了阿尔卡特、西门子这两家公司作为代表,以了解欧洲企业对中国市场的看法。
China is one of the largest telecommunications markets in the world. In the first half of the 1990s, China’s telecommunications infrastructure construction quadrupled in terms of the number of fixed lines installed. In the current Ninth Five-Year Plan (1996-2000), the number of fixed line installations is expected to increase at more than 16 million lines per year, while cellular mobile phone facilities will grow at an additional 8 million subscribers a year . The goal of China Telecom is: By the end of this century, the national telephone penetration will be increased to 10 per 100 residents; the urban telephone penetration rate will reach 30-40 per hundred; and every rural area will have access to the public telephone network. All this has attracted the investment of European and American enterprises in China. After the birth of the euro, the European market will stabilize and they will certainly pay more attention to the Chinese market. Here we have selected Alcatel, Siemens as representatives of these two companies to understand the views of European companies on the Chinese market.
